These three cones will enable you to paint a lot of candles; however, to get you started, each kit contains four candles with a choice of six colour variations:

Light blue (4 candles)

Dark blue (4 candles)

Light green (4 candles)

Cream (4 candles)

Light pink (4 candles)

Dusty pink (4 candles)

Plum (4 candles)

Grey (4 candles)

The paint used is supplied by an experienced manufacturer of acrylic candle paint for henna craftwork. The candles are safe to be lit once decorated. The paint should NOT be used on skin.

How to use the paint cones:

Snip the tip of the cone with sharp scissors. Using a blunt cutting tool will result in blotchy and uneven paint lines. It is recommended to begin by snipping approximately 1mm off. This will ensure that the paint flow is thin and steady.

Apply consistent pressure with your thumb and move the cone to create your designs. The more pressure you apply, the thicker and faster the paint will flow from the cone.

Whilst applying pressure, move your hand simultaneously to guide your paint flow into a design. Forgetting to do so will result in different width of paint lines, making your designs look untidy.

For extra safety: if painting on tea lights or pillar candles, avoid designing around the wax pool to ensure the flame does not come in direct contact with the paint.

If painting directly from the paint cones, please consider the following:

How to store paint cones for later use:

When you’ve finished using a cone, seal the tip with a small piece of sellotape. This will stop the remainder of the paint drying out and can be reused when required.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Ensure the cones are kept in a air-tight container to avoid air flow. This will stop the paint in the cones from drying out.
